To Rococo Rot
This booklet is a semiotic homage to Berlin post-rock, electronic band, To Rococo Rot. The process and make of the book design mirrors that of the band's "lebendig" recording approach: electronic recording of snippets from everyday moments/analog manipulation/then digitally mastered. Materials used: digital photography of found items/copier/then digitally printed.
Cover features a döner kebab, street food found everywhere in Berlin; made ubiquitous and adopted local cuisine from of its Turkish population.
