🔺 in Composition
This lesson series for my Foundations of Photography [CTE] class teaches 9-12 graders the principle of design using triangles in composition and introduces the genre of street photography.
This multimedia video scaffolds language specifically for my ELL students and builds understanding for all my foundation students. This lesson develops photo literacy by highlighting key concepts, visual examples, cues, and defining content-specific language.
Cultural exemplars used in this lesson were curated specifically for my classroom. Using student research collected from pre-and formative assessments, I brought relevant visual examples that would connect to my student worlds.
